Julia Fox by Juergen Teller for the Cut / me, serving very similar energy, by my boyfriend, for his cameraphone

I’m delighted, honestly, by the current Twitter discourse around “nepotism babies” — here defined as people who owe their professional success to proximity to existing status in a given industry, by way of parents or other family members. I find the conversation thrilling, multi-faceted, high-stakes, rich in philosophy, and trashy as hell — all of my favourite things, to be honest. Here for it. Live for it.

As is often the case in a society fixated on the perceived glamour of the entertainment industry, this is where most of the focus has been directed, at least in my algorithm.
